Meet Dr. Scott, DVM

Veterinarian. Performer. Spiritual guide. And the founder of a space built for you.

"Where veterinary medicine meets the wisdom your heart already knew."

Veterinarian. Performer. Spiritual guide. And the founder of a space built for you.

I became a veterinarian because animals have always made sense to me in a way that little else has. The bond between a human and the animal they love — that quiet, wordless devotion — I understood it completely, long before I ever set foot in a classroom.

I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and built a clinical career around that love. I have sat with families in their most devastating moments. I have held animals as they took their last breath and watched the humans who loved them try to hold themselves together. I have been the one in the white coat — steady, professional, present.

What I did not expect was how much that would cost me.

Part one

I became a veterinarian because animals have always made sense to me.

Only a few short years into my career, I burnt out. Not the kind of tired that a good night's sleep fixes — the kind that reaches into the deepest parts of you and goes quiet. The passion was still there somewhere, buried underneath the exhaustion. The love for animals never left. But something essential in me had gone silent, and I did not know how to find it again.

So I stopped pretending I was fine and started listening to the parts of myself I had always kept separate from my professional life. The gifts I had carried since childhood but never fully claimed — an ability to sense energy in a room, a deep connection to tarot and spiritual wisdom, a voice that heals, a body that has always known how to move its way back to truth. I began to use them. Quietly at first, and then with growing conviction.

And slowly — not all at once, not without struggle — I rose.

That rising is The Indigo Phoenix®. It is not a metaphor. It is what actually happened. And it is what I now dedicate my work to helping others experience — because if a burnt-out veterinarian can find her way back to herself through sound, spirit, and the stubborn refusal to give up, then so can you.

Part two — the heart of the story

A few short years into my career, I burnt out.

Today I show up for the humans who love animals — all of them. The pet owner sitting with grief that no one around them seems to understand. The veterinarian running on fumes and wondering if this is all there is. The vet tech who cries in her car after a hard shift and then goes back in anyway. The shelter worker who absorbs loss daily and has nowhere to put it. The rescuer, the foster, the person whose whole world is shaped by an animal they love completely.

I bring everything I am to this work — the clinical knowledge, the spiritual gifts, the performer who has always believed that sound and movement can reach places words cannot. None of these parts of me are in conflict. They are all in service of the same thing: helping you feel less alone in whatever you are carrying.

I am not a certified holistic veterinarian — and I will always be honest about that. What I am is a licensed DVM who has walked through fire, emerged with hard-won wisdom, and built a space where science and soul are allowed to exist together without apology.

If that is what you have been looking for — you are in the right place. You always were.
